Dog training is not a one-size-fits-all approach.

My mission is to build confidence in both dogs and their owners. I work with all ages, levels, challenges, and breeds to develop essential skills that foster a healthy and harmonious relationship at home and beyond.

Bentley

“We have been taking classes (NACSW scent training and obedience - out and about) from Jennifer for 3+ years.  Her classes are both educational and fun for the dogs and humans :).  I have taken both a young and an older dog through her scent training classes, and both have gained more confidence as time goes on.  Both dogs are doing well in competitions, if you are into that.  And, we have met some amazing people and dogs through her classes.  Thanks, Jennifer, for always being so patient and caring.”

Charley

“Jen Kisker is proficient, kind, and masterful in caring for our dog Charley.  She trains him (& me) with firm guidance and cares for him as if he were her own.  Charley loves to be with Jen whether it is to play and have fun or to work in a class or individual training.  From puppy on, Jen has been our go-to and we appreciate her knowledge and trust her implicitly.  We would be lost without her and Ember  : )”

Snacks

“I met Jen through a referral when I got my little boy, Snacks. He was just a puppy at the time, and we instantly fell in love with her. The biggest lesson I learned regarding training Snacks was I was the one that needed the training. With time and consistency, Snacks has become a great dog and listens most of the time (he is a French bulldog, so being a little stubborn is common).

Jen has been a significant part of our lives for over 4 years now and I trust her completely. She is part of our family, and I would highly recommend her training and/or boarding services. Snacks is a Mama's boy except when Jen comes over and then he could care less about me.”

Schnitzel

“I cannot say enough good things about Jennifer and her training program. She teaches beyond the basics and helps you to create a positive relationship between you and your dog. That relationship in turn has created a most wonderful canine companion for me! Schnitzel is an absolute joy to be with thanks to the training we have received from Jennifer!”

Winston

“I have had dogs all my life and loved them all, but until I started working with Jennifer, I never realized how to build the bond and trust to the extent that I have with my current dog, Winston, a black lab. We met Jennifer at a basic obedience class. Winston is a very driven, motivated dog who really did not care for the basic obedience classes. Yet, he learned to do all that was asked of him, though somewhat reluctantly. Jennifer took a keen interest in Winston and suggested that he would be a good match for nose work.

We started nose work, and by working with Jennifer, I learned how to trust my dog. Jennifer saw his potential and encouraged me to take small steps and not ask too much of him too soon. We stayed the course, and I now have a dog that exceeds all expectations. Winston has now titled in Nosework 2, and if I were better at my end, would have titled in Nosework 3.  With Jennifer’s help, I have taken this highly motivated, high-energy dog and have developed a bond of trust and friendship with him. Whenever I had questions about how to approach different things with Winston, she was always ready to help and encourage me.

If you want to learn how to get the most out of your relationship with your dog, how to build a level of trust, and how to work with your dog to have not just a pet but a companion, I wholeheartedly recommend Jennifer. If you follow her advice, you will have the dog of your dreams.”
